A Dramatic Change

Many schools have a large hall that’s not really a theatre.
And nothing the right size for the shows they really want to put on.
That was how it used to be at King Edwards School Witley.

Until Head of Drama Lynsey Cleaves contacted Stage & Tiers and, together,
they worked out a plan that improved the main hall and
transformed the old Green Room into a versatile and accessible studio space.

The stage in the main hall went from polished wood to black vinyl.

And the old Green Room went further.
A bespoke package of Metrodeck and flexible seating turned it
from a waste of space into versatile performance space.
