We designed Metrodeck for the Barbican Concert Hall in ‘97.
So it’s been going more than 25 years!
It had to be:
Versatile
Reliable
Durable
Easy to handle
It’s still in use there today and it’s our most popular stage.
Now you can find it in hundreds of theatres, schools, concert halls, churches, businesses and other venues.
Metrodeck offers you three main styles of structure:

Build the tiers how you want.
Use your existing seats,
or we can suggest some.
Tiers make it memorable. -
Pit Infills
Versatile spaces often need pits.
But to make the floor flat
you’ll need to cover that pit.

Accessories
Metrodeck is a complete system with standard accessories.
But if we need to design something new - that’s what we do.
A set of castors turns a deck into a trolley and a dozen more will stack on top.
Stacks of decks are secured with ratchet straps
We make treads of all sizes and shapes - with or without handrails
Bespoke leg trolleys make storage easy
A combined Handrail & Leg Trolley is a thing of beauty - and great practicality.
Deck to deck connection is usually done with these simple Velcro straps
Use clamp connectors when deck connections are under special stress.
A multi-coupler attaches to a leg and allows it to support four adjacent legs.
Handwheels are often an option for tool-free assembly
End caps are used in the legs and handrails - and spares are always available.
